If you’ve thought about furthering your education after high school, you’ve probably wondered, what should I major in? However, there are different things to consider when attending trade schools such as Broward Technical College.
What’s the Difference Between a Trade School and University?
In general, to graduate from a college, you have to attend school for at least four years. This usually requires a combination of general education and career-specific courses. A trade school, on the other hand, focuses on the job-specific courses. This allows you to complete your schooling earlier and start your dream career even sooner.
Do I Have Choose a Major?
Rather than majors, like you choose at a university, you decide amongst our career programs at our technical colleges. When you choose your career program, you want to keep your desired career in mind.
We also have a special community-based ACCESS program, which helps 18 to 22-year-old students with disabilities prepare to earn competitive employment.
What Programs are Available?
